A blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Gewurztraminer from grapes grown on the Mill Creek estate property. The location is influenced by the cool fog from the Russian River but also the daytime heat of Dry Creek Valley. The vines are purposely farmed to yield flavorful berries ideal to their varietal . As with all Mill Creek vineyards, sustainable practices are utilized to minimize environmental impact.
Winemaker Notes: Very floral, this wine starts with a bouquet of citrus, roses and pineapple. The subsequent flavor is of crisp fresh tangerine and pineapple with just a tiny hint of lemon. It has a strong backbone of acidity which makes it fresh and clean with a significant lingering tangerine finish. This is the perfect easy sipping, refreshing summer wine. It’s bright flavors and clean crispness would make it go seamlessly from Tuesday night’s Grilled Lemon Chicken Salad, to Friday’s book club lunch, to paired with an appetizer plate around the pool on Sunday.
