The grapes originated from our estate property in southern Dry Creek Valley. The grapes are carefully harvested in the early morning hours and then gently pressed to settle in stainless steel. A cold fermentation preserves the exotic fruit flavors while two months aging on the yeast contributes to a round mouth feel. The wine was then racked and bottled on January 13th, 2010.
Our 2009 Gewurztraminer has a vibrant nose of ginger, roses, and ripe honeysuckle. A bright attack yields to a full middle with flavors of spice, lychee, and brown sugar. Baked pear with a long refreshing finish round out the wine.
