2007 Cabernet Sauvignon

2007 Cabernet Sauvignon

Tasting Notes

Grapes for this wine came from the Estate (42% Cabernet) and the Kreck Family Vineyard in Alexander Valley (42% Cabernet & 16% Merlot). It is bursting with aromas of blackberry jam and spice. This wine caresses the palate with layers of fruit, anise, and leather. The wine has a dark purple color and exhibits full body with very firm tannins. The finish is long and spicy. This wine would pair especially well with hearty red meats, grilled steaks, roasts, and rich Italian pastas. It would also go well with rich, tangy cheeses.
