While the picnic deck at Mill Creek Vineyards is hard
to beat, just down the road you will find stunning
redwood vistas, a gurgling creek, bird's-eye views
of, well, birds, free-roaming cattle, wildflowers,
moss-draped oaks, historical names and places, and
vineyards. From Westside Road (near Hop Kiln Winery)
to Armstrong Woods State Park, Sweetwater Springs
Road has a lot to offer on its winding route over
Mount Jackson. - Katherine Radcliffe

Well the secret is out... we live such a rough life
here. Late in February of this year I woke to find
the walls of my bedroom a magnificent shade of pink.
Although it is hard to confuse me for a morning person,
I managed to grab my camera and stumble into the
front yard. I am sure glad I did! - Brian Kreck

The staff and visitors to Mill Creek this Passport
had a great time. We enjoyed grilled CK Lamb and
introduced Mill Creek's first-ever Reserve Merlot.

As spring arrives, many of the plants in Sonoma County
begin the next round of growth. These trees have
lined the Mill Creek drive for almost thirty years
and remain one of the many attractions at Mill Creek.

Spring is everywhere!
|
It is spring! Everything is bursting into leaf and flower and the whole winery property is alive with activity. It seems whether it is around the tasting room, out in the vineyards, up at the winery, or at the office – every time you look around there is hustle bustle.
This is a very lush, green time in the county, as the hillsides are still green. There are flowers everywhere. Camellias, Azaleas, and Rhododendrons grow abundantly in Sonoma County. The Roses are budding out, as are the Iris. Moss on the trees, ferns, and new bright green leaves complete the picture.
